Editing

All of your photos are carefully edited with optional retouching and your input is taken into consideration throughout the process. When editing videos, I format the footage for your social media platforms and websites to ensure that you will receive the highest quality results.

What is ‘Retouching’?

Retouching is an additional step added to my editing process where I polish your images by making slight adjustments to your physical appearance in the photos. This may include editing out acne, scars, wrinkles, fly-away hairs, blemishes, damaged skin, etc. As retouching involves extra editing time, there is an increase in price for retouched photos. Although retouching may offer “better” results, there is absolutely nothing wrong with keeping your features unaltered and showing off your natural beauty.

How are photos and videos delivered?

Your edited photos and videos are emailed to you in a custom digital folder delivered via Google Drive.

Do you provide printed images?

I do not provide printed images but I can have your photos printed in a wide variety of sizes for an extra cost upon request.

Do you provide the raw, unedited media files?

Unfortunately not. All of my work is delivered to you edited and ready to download and share.

What if I don’t know how to pose?

Don’t worry! It’s my job as a photographer to help you pose and look your best in your photos. I can also help you plan outfits to match our shooting locations and the style/occasion of the shoot.

What if I don’t see what I’m looking for?

If any of my services do not seem to meet your needs, we can always work together to create a custom plan for your desired shoot or project. I’m just an email away.

Can you shoot my project on film or only digital?

Of course! I offer 35 Millimeter film photography services so any of your shoots can be shot on film or a combination of film and digital photography if desired. I use Kodak Portra 400 film by default however you may request that your project be shot on a different, specific film stock if you wish. All film photography services are priced at a higher rate than that of digital to compensate for the expenses of professional third-party development and scanning.

Can my shoot be subject to additional costs?

Yes. If your shoot requires longer transportation time, special equipment rentals, rushed editing or delivery, etc., you can be subject to additional expenses.

How do I pay for your services?

Online payments through Zelle, PayPal or Venmo are preferred, but I also accept cash and checks.

When do I pay for your services?

For commercial shoots involving restaurants and other businesses, I require a deposit of 50% of the total cost up front and 50% after the product is delivered. For all other shoots I require 100% of the total cost up front, unless negotiated otherwise or if the client is subject to additional payments.
